Charlie and I met through mutual friends and quickly became close. From the beginning, we connected easily and discovered we shared many of the same interests, building a strong foundation as friends. Our relationship took a turn during a hurricane in Tampa, when we found ourselves helping friends prepare and navigating an unexpected adventure together. In those moments—supporting each other and facing the unknown side by side—our bond deepened, and we both began to realize something more was growing between us. Not long after, we couldn’t ignore it, and everything fell naturally into place. Soon after, we evacuated together with our dogs and, just weeks later, set off on a trip to Vietnam. That trip confirmed what we already felt—we shared a love for adventure, travel, and experiencing the world together. Since then, we’ve continued exploring side by side, from hiking and cave exploring to discovering new places and cultures. One of the most meaningful experiences has been sharing Guatemala together, a place close to our hearts, and creating memories there that made it even more special. We are so excited for all the adventures still to come, and most of all, for the greatest one yet—our life together.
