Celebrate our marriage and Lunar New Year with us! As you can see from the Relationship Timeline below, we can't use the excuse that the pandemic got in the way of our wedding planning as it did for so many others. The reason we decided to get married without a wedding is due to the simple fact that after Charles proposed to me, I couldn't wait to marry him. I didn't want an extended engagement, and also I erroneously thought we needed to be married for tax filing purposes due to our house purchase. We got married on January 14th, 2023 during the 2023 Texas State Weightlifting Championships in Houston, Texas surrounded by a handful of my weightlifting teammates. We're excited to invite the rest of our friends and family to celebrate our marriage on Lunar New Year. We've taken great care to put together what we hope will be an exciting and memorable evening for our guests.
