This is our FAVORITE museum! If you only have time for 1 thing, this should be it! It showcases significant artifacts including the Rosa Parks bus, Lincoln’s assassination chair, and Ford's first vehicles. If the weather is nice, also checkout the Greenfield Village which is part of the Henry Ford grounds but a separate entrance fee. Both are our top picks for things to do in Detroit Metro Michigan!
If the weather is nice, checkout this really cool village that features historic buildings from all over the world, including Thomas Eddison's lab. Learn about 19th-century American life through demonstrations and working, historic transportation. There are train, horse & carriage, and Model-T rides. Its adjacent to the Henry Ford Museum and should be done together.
Dearborn, Michigan, has the highest concentration of Arab Americans and Middle Eastern/North African residents in the United States. Needless to say, you can find very delicious middle eastern food here! The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village are also in Dearborn.
