Kathy and Rick's home has a long driveway, we ask you to parallel park along the sides of the driveway. Its ok to park on the grass but do not block other cars and ensure there is room to drive down the driveway still.
For the Exchanging of Vows: The bride and groom will be in a semi-formal dress and suit. Guests can wear something semi-formal and easy to dance in! Michigan summers are warm and humid and there is always a chance of rain. If you are attending only the celebration, dress is casual.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. Shade can be found under a large tent and several large covered patios. Restroom facilities will be available on-site for guest use. In case of severe weather, we have an indoor backup plan to keep everyone comfortable.
Yes! During the ceremony, a babysitter will be provided to watch small children, if preferred. After the ceremony, all children are welcome to play and celebrate. There will be yard games and even a pond with swim toys, bring your swimsuits!
There will be small bites after the exchanging of vows. Buffet-style meal served for dinner, including pasta, mac & cheese, fried chicken, salads, fruit, and veggies. There will be vegetarian and vegan options. If you have food allergies, please contact the bride or groom to ensure there will be options for you.
Please RSVP by June 25th.
Your presence and support is gift enough, but if you are feeling particularly generous, there are a few honeymoon gifts we would love! We are registered here on Zola. You can also bring a card and gift to the wedding.
Please arrive at least 15 min before the start so you have plenty of time to park, grab a drink, and find a seat.
