2249 Buck Shoals Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020 There is a small red roadside sign labeled “Winding Creek.” Be on the look out for a dragonfly. Please turn into farm there. There are Buck Shoal Cabins right across the street from our venue. We almost missed it when we drove there the first time, so please plan accordingly and allow yourself some extra driving time.
We have created Disney honeymoon registry. We both have all we need and more for our home. We’d love for our guests to check our registry. We also registered at Target and have added that registry to this site.
There’s been a block placed on these two hotels for our guests: FAIRFIELD INN AND SUITES and BEST WESTERN PLUS Please see “Travel.”
We will have wine and beer. No liquor is allowed by the facility. Please do not bring any liquor on site. (Liquor will be confiscated by facility and they will ask you to leave.) We will also lose our deposit.
Yes, while the wedding party is taking pictures, drinks (beer and wine) and appetizers will be served in the barn. There will also be yard games and a photo booth that will be available during this time.
We will have a buffet. We will have a choice of roast beef or grilled chicken with a variety of sides.
Once you pull into the wedding venue, there is a huge field for parking. There is plenty of parking at the venue and we will have someone directing traffic, so this should not be a concern. If you’d rather not drive, we suggest using an Uber or Lift app.
Please refer to your invitation for this. We have planned for a set amount of guests for food/seating. Any questions, please just text or email Mike or I. Thank you!
Of course, your presence is the most important to them, the couple is accepting donations to their honeymoon and future. We are registered at Disney. Link: https://disney.honeymoonwishes.com/Honeymoon-Registry-395817-Walt-Disney-World-Resort-Charity-Morrissey-Michael-Heath.html
Please arrive 20-30 minutes early. The wedding will begin promptly at 2pm and we want everyone to be comfortably in their seats before the bridal party and bride’s arrival.
Ladies should wear cocktail dresses. Men should wear slacks , collared shirts, and jackets. Wear comfortable shoes. We will be outside for the ceremony and reception as the barn is open. Please dress warmly. It would be advisable to wear a sweater or to have jacket for later in the evening. If it is especially chilly, you may bring blankets for the ceremony.
Hopefully gorgeous! Typically it will be cooler with highs in 60s. Please plan accordingly.
We will be getting married in field adjacent to barn. Please pay mind to signage and the large arbor we will be using.
As soon as you know is best. Once we know who will attend, we can plan accordingly. October 12th is final deadline for caterer.
Please do not take any photos at the ceremony. We want you to be fully present in the moment. We promise to share our beautiful pictures from our photographer. At the reception you may take as many pictures as you like! Please capture as many as you like! Share under the hashtag: #YouHadMeAtHeath
Please message, text, call or email : Mike or I with additional questions as soon as possible. Maybe you thought of something we forgot? Please let us know prior to the day of our wedding. This will eliminate confusion and frustration for everyone involved for the wedding day!
