Matron of Honor
We met in Miami during med school- she has been my church/shopping after exams/study buddy, amazing friend, family during holidays and sister in Christ! We frolicked around brickell like we were still in college. From heartbreak to love Sarah has been by my side! It was a bit of a transition learning to share her with Noah but we still would let him third wheel in Miami ;) She is the most generous, Kale loving, efficient mom/doc/fashionista/retro superwoman you will meet! Now she is in DC for OBGYN residency with her adorable baby K and husband Noah!
Best Man
Phil is my best friend. Our friendship started in jr. high and we first bonded as being one of the few "normal" Vietnamese dudes in a predominately caucasian private school, but we've also shared so many memories from playing computer games all night despite my mom yelling at us to sleep to traveling to Vietnam together. Ever since our meeting, he's always been my most loyal and consistent friend. We've seen each other grow so much in life and I'm lucky he's always been there all these years.
Bridesmaid
We became friends in college at UMD, would go to DC for J.Crew shopping and food. Rachel helped me move to Miami taking the train then sitting pretzel position in my overly stuffed car for 3 hours, helping me switch lanes because there was no view out the back windows! That's the kind of friend this girl is. We still find the time to travel around the US together. BTW she has these ghetto moments that come out. SO funny. Rachel lives in Baltimore and is a Cardiothoracic surgery PA!
Groomsman
Phillip is one of the few childhood friends I still keep in contact with. It seems as though at the roughest and lowest points in life, I always seem to coincidentally get a call from Phillip and he always speaks spiritual truth and encouragement to me in these moments. He's genuinely kind and is always looking to help others in need. Phillip has been a major catalyst in motivating me to walk close to God and I'm lucky to have a friend like Philip act like as a spiritual compass in my life.
Bridesmaid
God really wanted us to end up friends and gave us 3 shots: high school, college, and med school. We finally became close during the last of those 12 years of school! When I was single she hinted that she knew a guy that would match my personality- and it ended up being Kevin!! We've had fun Bmore adventures like when she lied and took me on what seemed like a never-ending run to get pizza during wintertime. I got mad- she laughed, fed me pizza, and all has been well since! Sassy, FAST, reliable, and beautiful with the most angelic voice- love this girl. Erin just got married to Ethan and is an Ophthalmology resident in Baltimore!
Groomsman
Lance and I met in high school and he's one of the few high school friends I still keep in touch with. In my opinion, what's made us close is that we've been able to be transparent with each other, being able to share our struggles and also our advice to each other has been great. Another aspect of our friendship is that we share a similar appreciation for hard work and it has been contagious in my own life to see his grind. Lance will also always hold a special place in my heart since he helped plan my first date and my proposal.
Bridesmaid
This girl kept me alive my last year of medical school!! We lived in the same building and she would let me march into apartment whenever I was needy and we would go on ALOT of dates. All those dates either included Salty Donut or shopping! Annie will go out of her way to help her friends without second thoughts! Talented, smart, super artsy, and incredibly hardworking. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out- so humble she doesn't even know it! Annie is currently an OBGYN resident at Southern Illinois!
Groomsman
I first met Tommy in gen chem lab, freshman year of college. It was quite an adventure trying to finish all those reactions and write those equations down by the end of class, but we figured it out. Fast forward 9 years later and Tommy is still the same buddy who is up for an adventure. We've taken jiu jitsu classes together, spent countless hours in the gym together, and have biked several hundred miles together (on separate bikes of course). Message to Tommy: after all this love, don't forget about that time I put you in an arm bar.
Bridesmaid
I met Daniela during my last year of med school. She is someone that looks intense and high maintenance but is actually SUPER down to earth! We both applied to ophthalmology at the same time, would text each other constantly, and even coordinated flights and stays together during interviews! We bonded through the season of high stress and then celebrated afterwards! Daniela was the most unexpected friend that I am incredibly thankful for! She is fun, energetic, and can stay out dancing ALL NIGHT! Daniela is an Ophthalmology resident in Miami!

Vincent and I met while doing emergency medicine research in college. We grew close while studying for the medical school entry exam called the MCAT. Everyday we'd wake up early to work out and drag each other to the library. Embracing the grind of medicine together has bonded us, on the other hand, the breaks we've taken while studying to either bike, work out, or do jiu jitsu proves that we can get along in just about any situation.
