Do I need a covid test to enter Los Cabos?

Answer

Los Cabos is open to travelers. There is no need to provide a negative covid-19 test or quarantine upon arrival, though you will need to fill out a health questionnaire upon arrival at Los Cabos International Airport.

Will I need a negative covid test to return to the U.S.?

Answer

Yes. Upon arrival, resort personnel will guide you on how to schedule your covid testing for your return trip. A test will be provided to you at the resort usually 1 day before your return trip.

What if I have had a Covid-19 vaccine? Do I still need a negative covid test to return to the U.S.?

Answer

Yes. All air passengers traveling to the US, regardless of vaccination status, are required to provide a negative covid test or documentation of recovery.

What happens if I test positive for covid?

Answer

You will likely be required to self-isolate and delay travel back home which will require you to extend your trip. Hotels and resorts have commonly offered special accommodations and discounted rates to facilitate this process, but you would need to check with Breathless Resort Cabo to see if this applies to their particular location. The trip insurance ONLY covers cancellations related to covid prior to leaving the U.S. If you do not have additional insurance that covers an extended stay, the additional days required for a positive covid test will be at cost to you.
