Groom
Chandler is my best friend in the whole world. Even before we started dating, I felt like I could trust him with everything. I just knew there was something special about him. He is kind, funny, and a faithful child of God. He is dedicated to everything he does and is so supportive of what I do. I truly can't wait to be his wife :) -S
Bride
Savannah is pretty cool. She is without a doubt my bestfriend, and funniest person I know (besides myself). She has a passion for serving the Lord through childrens and youth ministry, that is in fact what caught my attention the most when we first met. She is fiercly competitive if she knows she can win and has the highest vertical jump this side of the mississippi (totally). She puts up with my love for sports and ability to plan or what lacks thereof. I am just so excited to get to marry her and do life together forever. -C
Best Man
In complete honesty I have no clue exactly when, where, or how we became friends. I know we had a mutual friend that brought it closer but I feel like I have been sitting next to Jacob in youth group everytime for as far back as I can think. I told Jacob many years ago that he was going to be my "bestest mensch", for those that do not know that it is something from a TV show called The Office. Jacob has meant so much to me, we have spent many a nights staying up late talking and he has been a constant in my life for a long time.
Maid of Honor
I met Miranda on August 6th, 2001. I don't remember the day all that well, but we've been pretty close ever since. It feels like I've known her my whole life. She is my built-in best friend, and she knows everything about me. I would never tell it to her face, but I've looked up to her and learned from her more than I can say. I'm so thankful to have her as my older sister and my maid of honor on my wedding day. I wouldn't be where I am without her.
Groomsman
Kai, or Triston. Another friend I am not entirely sure how we became friends other than maybe through his dad. Kai has been around for a lot of the crazier adventures and weirder adventures I have been on. Whether it was walking/repelling down a mountain in the pouring rain, or a personal favorite of crashing a wedding at a spring and then helping getting the party started jumping into the spring itself. This time there is no crashing the wedding as we are both part of it!
Bridesmaid
I have to shout out 10th-grade Geometry class for all my high school best friends. Maggie and I met and became friends in this class. Maggie invited me to her church's youth group and the rest is history. We quickly became inseparable and I became the adopted, fifth Tucker child. Getting involved in NorthRock Church (the church plant started by the Tuckers) helped me realize my call to ministry. I would not be the same person if it weren't for Maggie and the Tucker family.
Groomsman
James Bradley Thomas, the man with three first names. I actually know when ur friendship started, freshman year at Liberty. We hit it off becasue we both knew where Pelham Georgia is, and we have been roommates ever since. He has that little bit of crazy that I love being around. I have gotten to see Brad mature and grow so much over the past four years and I am proud to call him one of my closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Vinnea and I met in our college dorm hall during my freshman year. She is my extroverted, hilarious, and thoughtful friend. We were roommates my junior year and were essentially inseparable for the whole year. During this time there were a lot of late night conversations and sleepovers, although we already lived under the same roof. Her wisdom and guidance have meant so much to me. She has been such a blessing to my life and a dear friend to Chandler and me.
Groomsman
The tall boy, no he is not a basketball player. We first met freshman year at LIberty aswell, he was on the complete opposite ends of our hall. Conrad would drop in and ask things like "have you ever realized..." and give us quick facts throughout the day; which stuck with me because we have been living toether ever since. He has some of the funniest reactions and is a joy to be around. Just do not bring up needles around him or hide his energy drink.
Bridesmaid
I also met Jacqueline my freshman year at Liberty. I was her Community Group Leader and I thought she was the coolest person in the world. We became very close my sophomore year and we lived together the year after that. She is the kindest and wisest person I have ever met. Her faith in the Lord is so inspiring and I look up to her so much. Chandler and I are so thankful to have Jaqueline and Tom as faithful friends and role models. So much so that we're getting married a year after them, almost to the day!
Groomsman
A man of many names, John, Drax, Carl, John Carl, or psycho. John is a calm and collected man who I met my sophmore year at Liberty. We really became friends by annoying each other and he decided to move in with us as we moved from dorms to apartment styled living. We have watched many a basketball games, movies, and cat videos together; the best of these being a movie called Big Legend. John reminds me to be solid in my values and it does not matter what other people think, just be yourself.
Bridesmaid
Sierra is another friend from 10th Grade Geometry. Sierra, Maggie, Rachel, and I formed somewhat of a bond over the pain this class caused us. Sierra is kind, funny, and thoughtful. Sierra, Rachel, and Maggie came down to Virginia to visit. I think she knew I liked Chandler before I did. She was the first person I called when I finally realized. We have both grown so much since that Geometry class, and I'm so thankful we've been by each other's side through it all. I can't really put words to all she has meant to me over the years.
Groomsman
Will and I have been friends ever since middleschool, but we got a lot closer during highschool. Will, Jacob and I would stay up late playing video games talking about life. We really got close during our youth group trips, whether it be a retreat or a mission trip. He is someone I can almost always count on to be down to do something when I am in Tallahassee, or have a cold. Will has always been someone I can count on and I am so excited to have him stand up there with me.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is the final member of our Geometry group. Although, our story starts a bit earlier. We became friends in 8th-grade Algebra class, where we also struggled. So much so that we were in 9th-grade Algebra class together too (we just wanted to take a victory lap in the class I guess). I'm thankful that our friendship has expanded past years of math classes. So many of my best memories have been with Rachel. Whether we were living down the road from each other or across the ocean, we've been so close. I'm so thankful that I'll have her standing by my side for my wedding!
Groomsman
Joey and I have been friends for a long time. We were friends really before I think we thought we were friends. We had classes at Mrs. Halls house together, played soccer together and worked together. Joey is just a goofy guy who I can always count on to bring me joy, as he is a true comedian. I am so happy to say Joey has been there for a lot of big life decisions and we have both gotten to see each other grow so much over the years. I am so thankful for him and I think everyone needs a friend like Joey Hendricks in their life.
Bridesmaid
Logan is one of the first friends I met at Liberty. We quickly became friends my freshman year and were roommates the year after. Our friend group did absolutely everything together. To say Logan has seen me at my best and at my worst would be an understatement. She has been a constant friend and role model for me and is always reflecting the love of God. Her humor and heart are among her greatest qualities. I'm so thankful for her friendship over the past few years.
