Flight

Salt Lake City Airport

The Salt Lake City airport is a major hub, about a 35-40 minute drive to our venue. The TRAX train goes from the airport into the city and can take you south towards the venue, although it will likely be best to rent a car or share rides with others.

Provo Airport

Provo Airport is a small hub for Allegiant, Breeze and American Airlines, located about an hour from our venue. It's super quick and easy, low stress airport, often with good flight deals. Transport is limited, car rental would be recommended.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

If you're coming in from out of town, we recommend renting a car for the weekend or carpooling with others. Uber/Lyft and taxi's are likely able to bring you up the canyon to the venue for around $30-50, however they would be unreliable to bring you down the canyon, especially at night. You may be able to schedule one in advance.

Goldminer's Daughter Lodge

We have blocked this entire hotel for our wedding only. There are about 40 rooms available to rent for one or two nights. Priced at about $200 for a king or two queens, or $300 for a suit. It is just a walk across a large parking lot to our venue. They don't have AC, but trust me, it gets chilly at night and won't be needed. They will offer coffee and tea and some snacks, but not full breakfast. We will try to provide some grab and go items. Plan to bring some food or eat at one of the other restaurants in the area during the day! Check out by 1pm on Sunday. Shuttles available to take you across the ski parking lot to the venue if needed.

Hotel

The Cliff Lodge

This is an excellent option, especially for families with children. About 1.5 mile drive down canyon from our venue. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide a shuttle to Alta. This option provides more amenities at a bit higher price point. They include the Cliff Spa, pool and hot tub, yoga classes, fitness center, alpine slide/mountain coaster/climbing wall/bungee trampoline/ropes course, the tram ride, multiple restaurants, AC, and even childcare! Reservations can be made individually through their website, with rooms opening up this winter for next summer. Please consider making reservations early, as this hotel is often used for other weddings, conferences and tourism.

Air Bnb

There are plenty of large and small Air Bnb's in the Alta area if you would like to have something more private, or a group house with friends! Again, please have a DD plan on getting back to your rental if drinking at the wedding.

Beautiful, clean campground near our venue. Must reserve campsite online, about $36 a night.
