This is an awesome 1.8 mile beginner out and back trail at Alta to see a beautiful alpine lake, wildflowers and maybe a moose! If you want to keep the hike short and park close, you will have to pay for parking at the trailhead, which is 15 minutes up the road from our venue.
An awesome way to get a scenic 360 view of the Wasatch Mountains at the top of Snowbird Resort without the uphill effort. You can access hikes and downhill mountain biking from the top as well. Ranging from $46-55 for a ticket, children under 6 are free. An All Access Pass may be cheaper if you plan on using Snowbird's other amenities like the alpine slide and bungee trampoline jump.
Pay $75 for access to the rooftop pool and hot tub with a view of the mountains, which includes access to their sauna and steam room, or buy a yoga/fitness class package. Remember, our venue also has a non-heated outdoor pool that you can hang out at all day for free! The Cliff Spa has lots of treatments to offer if you're needing some R and R. They also offer hair and makeup for wedding guests.
This is a nicely groomed 2.9 mi out and back stroll with 708 ft of elevation gain, winding through the base of the Alta Ski Resort at Albion Basin. It is a sure fire way to see some wildflowers. You can make this your own adventure by taking other paths through the resort or continuing on farther up the trail to Cecret Lake, Catherine Pass or Patsy Marley peak.
About 1.5 hours from the venue. A 4.6 mile, relatively flat, out and back hike to some gorgeous bright blue cascading hot springs. Be prepared for it to be crowded on the weekends with limited parking. Consider leaving early to beat the crowds! Cell service is very limited so download the map!
Explore this free market on Park City's famous Main Street with fun activities for kids. Most summer Sunday's from 10am to 5pm. Park City is an adorable mountain town with historical homes, and plenty of shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants, breweries and bars along the main strip. Street parking is limited, we recommend using the parking garage. Shuttles and public transport is available in the Park City area.
The zoo is a great way to spend the afternoon for children and adults. My favorite activity was feeding the giraffes! They often have baby gorillas/chimps, and snow leopards. Even a large polar bear. It can be very hot at this time of year so bring sun protection and water!
This is another pleasant activity, located in Liberty Park in the heart of Salt Lake City. They have a large variety of birds, including owls and tropical birds! There's a cafe and ice cream in the aviary, and lots of restaurants around the area. It can be hot in the valley at this time of year so bring sun protection and water!
