One of the best parts about San Miguel is exploring without a plan and intentionally getting lost in the city's storied cobblestone streets. Every corner brings something new, bright and beautiful, it's hard to believe it's real. Take a stroll down the famous street- Callejón del Pueblito
An iconic must-see in SMA, this 17th century parish church’s pink ‘wedding cake’ towers dominate the Jardín. The church has a Neo-gothic façade with two tall towers that can be seen from most parts of town. It’s a beautiful, imposing building and one of the most photographed churches in Mexico.
You MUST visit while in town. Huge, vibrant market with vendors as far as the eye can see! It really gives you a traditional Mexico feel and it's the perfect place to pick up little trinkets to take home. Bring your pesos!
One of best bars in the city with an outstanding view of the Parroquia. Come here before sunset for drinks and enjoy watching them ring the bells, followed by lighting up the church. Upscale food and hip venue offering an eclectic international menu & DJs in a chic space that has city views.
San Miguel may be surrounded by high desert, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find opportunities for warm water fun. The lovely La Gruta Springs features three outdoor pools of varying temperatures fed by thermal hot springs. Enjoy lovely gardens, a spring-fed waterfall, and a restaurant serving local specialties on premises. A day pass costs $10.00US. La Gruta hot springs is within 15 minutes out of town near golf course. Bring a towel and swimsuit!
San Miguel has three courses, and Club de Golf Ventanas, a Faldo design, is recommended as the best course in town. The course offers Kentucky Blue Grass fairways and Bent Grass greens - paired with the great weather this can be an amazing experience for our golfing guests.
Wine cultivation and production in Mexico began with the arrival of the Spanish in the mid-16th century, making Mexico the oldest wine-growing region in the Americas. A stunning, modern winery/bodega located outside of San Miguel in Dolores Hidalgo. Gorgeous architecture, peaceful gardens, excellent tasting tours.

Great food and drinks. We recommend the tostadas but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu in this small local joint.
