Hike Kaaterskill Falls
A nice, easy-ish 1.5 mile roundtrip hike to one of the biggest and most gorgeous waterfalls in the Catskills. Some rocks, but not a ton of elevation.
Visit the FDR Presidential Library and Museum
FDR's homestead - faithfully maintained, and on beautiful grounds. Plus his Presidential Library + Museum.
Shindig
We love Shindig! This is a fantastic restaurant where you can grab a meal right in the heart of Woodstock.
Tinker Taco Lab
A cozy bar with great cocktails and very tasty tacos. Texan owned / operated!
Sunfrost Farms
Nice little organic grocery store with a small cafe. They close at 6pm though!
Provisions Restaurant & Bar
The location of our Friday night gathering. They have great food and outdoor seating. A good place to take kids.
Station Bar & Curio
When Brian moved to Woodstock there wasn't really a place to get a drink after 8pm. Thankfully The Station opened. They have outdoor seating and great locally brewed beers on tap.
The Mud Club
A nice place to get a bagel and coffee and sit outside / enjoy the morning.
The Catskill Pines
A bit of a drive, but a beautiful one regardless of which direction you're coming from. Great food in a cozy little place in the mountains.
A & P Bar
It's an odd location - in a strip center behind a bank, but the food is really great. A good option if you're looking for a nicer place to sit down. Comfort food + cocktails.
Phoenicia Diner
The best breakfast place in the Catskills. Classic roadside diner with vinyl booths and mountain views.
Red Onion
Cozy restaurant in a house with some outdoor seating. Great wine list and a constantly changing menu of pasta, fish, steak, etc.
