No. We have a $1 safari ride system that goes in a circle around the island all day on a loop, and we have taxis. Taxis are somewhat expensive, so it is good to plan rides ahead of time. Renting a car is a good idea if you're going to be here for a few days.
We drive on the LEFT side of the road. It's not hard, driving on the mountains is the tricky part.
The food trucks on the side of the road. Have cash. You'll get a big plate of REAL food. Havensight has a lot of small restaurants - Mutiny Bar and Kitchen is good, Tap & Still is cheap, easy, and good. Yacht Haven has nice restaurants, a little pricy. In town: Greengos, Virgilio's, Banana Split, Bumpas (breakfast), Side Street Pub, are all good. Red hook: Hook'd, XO and 3 Palms. Our favorite everyday spots: Lani, at Limetree Beach, and Roots, at Tillet Garden
It is hot, but not too hot. Like 80's. It rains, but often times for only a small part of the day. It can be rainy on one side of the island but not the other.
Wear clothes that are cool and comfortable. We're not a very fancy island, a lot of our shops, eateries, and things to do are outside. We do plan on dressing in our Sunday Best for the ceremony.
