The posh place to stay! Stay up the hill just a little bit in the beautiful Hamilton Cove. This is a very private community where no outside guests are allowed, but offers the most stunning views. It comes with its own pool, beach, tennis courts etc., but also a little higher price tag. In addition to the stated website, we suggest looking at VRBO and Airbnb for rentals OR catalinavacations.com. These will book up fast and most require a minimum 2-night stay, most will be 3-night stay. Make sure to expand the dates for more availability should you be staying for the weekend.

Otherwise Uber/Lyft are the best option. - The ferry is about an hour long to Avalon.
