Flight

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

Boston Logan airport is ~90 minutes driving to Newport. Providence airport is closer, but we recommend Boston since it will likely have more affordable and more direct flights from most destinations. From Boston, you can rent a car and drive to Newport, or take the Amtrak to Providence and rent a car, take the ferry, or Uber/Lyft from there.

Flight

Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD)

PVD is the closest airport to Newport (~45 minutes driving or ~1 hour ferry), and is a great option for those looking to minimize driving time from the airport. Note that flights to Boston will likely be more convenient and affordable.

Train

Amtrak - Northeast Regional

For those traveling from Boston, Stamford, NYC, or anywhere else along the Northeast Regional line, you can take the train to Providence and then Uber (~45 minutes) or take the Seastreak Ferry (~1 hour)

Rental Car

Rental Cars

Rental cars are readily available at the airport if you are flying in to Boston or Providence (be sure to reserve ahead of time). Parking in downtown Newport can get a bit crowded but you can usually find a paid spot. Free parking is available at the ceremony and reception venues and all of the room block hotels. There are public busses and water taxis for getting around Newport, and Uber and Lyft are fairly reliable, so cars are not required.

The rate expires on Monday 7/3!! This is a newly re-modelled hotel that just opened in April, located in Middletown ~15 minutes outside of Newport. The rate is $379 for a double room or $399 for a king (plus tax). One night bookings allowed Note that the hotel is three stories and there is no elevator. If you need a first floor room please include that request when booking. Also note that the pool will not be open, but all other amenities (restaurant, fitness center, etc.) are brand new and open!
