Connor and Amanda met Eve in San Diego within the first week of moving. Eve's positive, bubbly, and uplifting personality has always inspired us. She has been a true friend to Connor and Amanda through all the ups and downs of life. Amanda and Eve spend most of their time together surfing, practicing yoga, catching up over coffee, or supporting Connor at comedy shows! (Eve is Connor's #2 biggest fan, right after Lori).
Sean Shepard
Best Man
Sean has been a close friend and confidant for Amanda and Connor since 2016. Sean and Connor met on a study abroad trip to London while they were at Grand Valley. Sean was quite annoyed with Connor at the time, with Connor cracking jokes and what not, but they soon became best buds and lived together in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His encouragement and trust have been a huge part of Connor and Amanda's personal and relational growth.

Angie is not only sharp and witty, she fiercely cares for those she loves and those who need support. Amanda looks up to her confidence and her ability to speak her mind. Be sure to congratulate her and Ken on their upcoming baby, due in September!

Ken is Connor's older brother. His mentorship and humor are wonderful additions to Connor and Amanda's wedding day. They're proud to call him a brother and have him by their side. Ken is now a father of two cats with Baby Castello on the way!

Jack was lucky enough to meet Allie through our favorite first date story. The two have been inseparable since! Allie's work ethic and excitement for life are contagious. Allie can do anything that she puts her mind to. Amanda is so grateful for the support, love, and friendship from Allie. You can expect to see her on the dance floor. 👏

Jack is Amanda's first younger brother. Despite being in the middle, Amanda looks up to him as an older brother-type figure. He and Connor got to know each other while traveling through Europe together on a tour, well before Connor and Amanda even really knew each other. Connor and Amanda love his easy approach to life -- he is kind, hardworking, and leads by example!

Bridgett is so positive, caring, fun, and creative. We were lucky to spend a surf and brew adventure together with Grey and Bridgett on their visit to San Diego in 2022. We admire her strong sense of community and the importance of family. If you see Bridgett at the wedding, say hello because you won't regret it!

Grey is Connor's younger brother. His stoic nature will certainly help keep Connor and Amanda grounded on what is to be the biggest day of their lives together (so far). Connor and Amanda are proud to call him their brother and love his natural DJ-ing skills.

The animal whisperer, sleeping tiger, Kimbob... the many names of Kim's outgoing and friendly personality! Amanda and Connor love Kim's determination and love for others. We are so happy that Kim and Brad found each other. She will "officially" become our sister on March 8, 2025!

Brad is Amanda's youngest brother. While it is hard to not see him as the "baby" of the family, Amanda is extremely proud of the man that he has grown up to be. He and Connor have become friends over the years through different family vacations and get togethers. His hilarious personality will be a critical addition to Connor and Amanda's wedding day. They are proud to call him a brother and can't wait to have him by their side.

Shelby and Amanda go way back to 2005 at Sycamore Elementary and instantly clicked. Amanda was obsessed (and slightly jealous) of Shelby's cute, embroidered jeans that she used to wear. Amanda remembers watching 'Say Yes To The Dress' in middle school with Shelby and always knowing that one day, she would be honored to have Shelby stand with her on her wedding day. Shelby is so kind, goofy, and confident. She has been a constant inspiration for Amanda.

Ethan and Connor met and became friends while living together in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Connor and Amanda love his level-headed, nature-loving, and adventurous approach to life.
