What is the recommended dress attire?
Answer
We are excited to celebrate our summer solstice wedding with bright and romantic semi-formal attire! Men may wear suits or blazers paired with dress pants, a button-down shirt, or a collared polo. For the ladies, think of flowing dresses or skirts in light, airy fabrics, with floral-inspired details. We welcome a fairy-tale feel with ruffles, bows, or lace. Sandals or low-heeled shoes are recommended for navigating the grass. Sun hats and sunglasses are welcome. The venue has sufficient shading for the day. No jeans, please.

What can I expect at the venue?
Answer
We are lucky to host our special day at Dan and Lori Castello's home. We are providing ample amenities to increase accessibility and fun for the day! Public Restrooms: Accessible bathrooms will be available throughout the day. Golf cart: A golf cart will be on-site to transport guests throughout the venue. Reception Tent: A shaded tent will provide covering for dinner and dancing. Mobile Bar: An open bar with beer, wine, and limited cocktails will be available. Consider bringing cash to tip the bartenders. Seating Areas: Comfortable seating areas in the shade and semi-shade will be available throughout the property. Kids-Play Area: Yard games and activities will be located on the property for kids (and adults)!

What happens if it rains?
Answer
The show must go on! We will make slight venue adjustments to accommodate the day. For serious weather, we will inform all guests of any changes or adjustments ahead of time.

Where do I park?
Answer
For more details regarding parking, please see the Parking website page. Parking will NOT be available onsite. All vehicles must park at the Hopkins Community Church and be shuttled to the venue. Drivers may drop off their party at the beginning of the Castello's driveway. We recommend guests arrive between 3:15 pm and 3:45 pm. The last shuttle will be at 3:45 pm and begin again after the ceremony at 4:30 pm.

Should I bring a gift to the reception?
Answer
Our online wedding registry can be found on the Registry website page. We will have a card box to accept in-person cards at the reception. We kindly ask guests not to bring physical gifts to the wedding reception. We have limited space as we will be traveling. Please consider shipping materials directly to our apartment in California any time before June 15th or after June 30th.

Answer
Our cocktail hour includes an open bar, appetizers, and multiple activities on-site for our guests. Dinner will be served buffet style, with plenty of mac 'n cheese. Non-alcoholic beverages, water bottles, and kid's drinks will be available throughout the evening.
