We're Getting Married!

Our story began on October 21st, 2021… a modern-day fairytale written not with castles or enchanted forests, but with two people swiping on their phones at exactly the right moment. When we matched on Bumble, something felt different, almost like fate was gently nudging us together. And when we met for the first time at The Rustic in San Antonio, that feeling only grew stronger. We talked for hours, completely wrapped up in each other, feeling a spark that made the world around us fade away. It was simple, effortless, and magical. The kind of beginning that feels like it was always meant to be. From that first date, our love unfolded naturally, like a story written with intention and warmth. We built our relationship through deep conversations, shared dreams, and an ease that made being together feel like home. Our adventures took us on birthday-month trips, spontaneous getaways, Mexico vacations with friends, and countless road trips across Texas to see family. At home, life became filled with the sweetest little moments. Raising a litter of puppies together & upgrading our family of three to now four (Shoutout Luna & Winnie), laughing at our own silly voices, making up ridiculous scenarios, and making all kinds of music in the living room without a care in the world. Our days are stitched together with friendship, laughter, and the kind of love that feels both grounding and magical. On May 3rd, 2025, in Playa del Carmen, Joey asked Emily to marry him while being surrounded by loved ones and the ocean breeze. (Spoiler: SHE SAID YES!) After the excitement and happy tears, we sat alone together with a bottle of champagne, tucked away from everything, dreaming about the future we were ready to create. It was quiet, intimate, and perfect. One of those moments that becomes a forever memory. As we look toward marriage, our hearts are full. We are excited to build a family, grow through every season of life side by side, create a life rich in joy, loyalty, faith, and true love, and continue choosing each other everyday.
