Wedding Party

Amber Tuttman

Matron of Honor

Cassandra and I met shortly after I was born. As her little sister, we have grown up together and I have had the privilege of watching her transform into the amazing woman she is today. On the flip side, as her little sister, I also am the story keeper of all her embarrassing moments...but we won't get into that here. I could not be more proud to stand beside my sister as she marries the love of her life. She has truly found her perfect match in Alan. Together they are two peas in a pod. P.S. Don't forget bobby pins on your wedding day Cassie. We don't want your veil to fall off.

Virginia Tong

Bridesmaid

Hi everyone! I first met Cassie back in 1998 when we were in 2nd grade at Harrison Elementary, which means our friendship itself is a mature professional adult of 27 years! Looking back, it's a bit of a miracle that Cassie stuck around me (but that's a story for another time). Fast forward to today, and here I am, honored to stand by her side as a bridesmaid at her wedding. We've grown up together: from endless playdates at each other's houses, marathon phone conversations that tied up our landlines, moving through Cassie's angsty teenager phases. We spent fun summers at tennis camp, but then commiserated playing on the school's tennis team, pulled all-nighters to finish school assignments, but then also unhealthily obsess over our favorite Taiwanese pop-singer. Through college, professional life, and every thing in between, we've kept in touch and supported each other. Cassie is one of my all-time favorite people, so by transitive property, Alan is a favorite as well, and I can't wait to celebrate them on their special day!

Bridesmaid

Cassie and I met in elementary school at NJ Ballet! The teacher would always ask Cassie to demonstrate the dance for the rest of the class...whereas I would always be the one who didn't remember the dance. I would bring my various pets for us to play with after the class (my dog Mimi and various parakeets)...no wonder why Cassie became a vet. At this point, we have been friends for 24(!!) years, which is 75% of our lives! Since then, we have gone through many years of tennis, ice skating, and being Yuzuru Hanyu fans, so I'm very honored to be Cassie's bridesmaid and celebrate her and Alan's big day.

Daria Verdonik

Bridesmaid

Cassie and I met at Lehigh University, where we were roommates with hilariously incompatible sleep schedules. We got up to all sorts of silly antics as a welcome break from studying. Cassie introduced me to K-pop, and I shared my Ukrainian music with her. I could not have asked for a better rommie, friend, and eventually bridesmaid at my own wedding! Cassie is a gem- she is one of the most determined, patient, and kind people I know. As for Alan, whom I recently met for the first time, his quiet intelligence and kind nature is the perfect match for Cassie. It is an honor to stand beside them as they start the next chapter of their lives together!

Rick Chien

Best Man

As Alan's younger brother, I've had the privilege of growing up by his side, from battling together in the game Battlefield 2, to squabbling over splitting chores. We went from fighting over shared resources, to teaching each other new things. We started as rival siblings, and grew into adults sharing responsibilities. It hasn't been easy, but we've come a long way. Alan has become more than just my older brother- he's been a witness to my marriage, my sounding board, and one of my closest allies! Alas, all this effort to grow together, only to grow apart at this moment. I've known Cassie for years now, and it's clear that she and Alan are very committed to each other. Their love and connection grows with each passing year, and it's a bitter sweet moment to see them taking the next step together. Alan, I'm proud of the man you've become, and Cassie, I'm excited to welcome you to the family. Here's to a lifetime of happiness and blessings!

Leo Chen

Groomsman

I met Alan years ago through a mutual friend, when we were all college students and young professionals, navigating the ups and downs of life together. Over the years, we grew closer by sharing laughs, struggles, and unforgettable moments. I remember on karaoke nights, while some of us couldn’t resist grabbing the mic, Alan had always preferred to just soak in the atmosphere. But during tabletop game nights, Alan would become much more outspoken and engaging. So I was pleasantly surprised when Alan announced his plan to host a wedding. Though life’s demands has pulled many of us in different directions, such as my own marriage and teaching career, Alan has remained a steadfast friend, by providing the chance for old friends to reconnect, during such a significant moment of his life. Alan, I'm really honored to be invited as a groomsman to your wedding, and I wish you and Cassie a lifetime of happiness, love, and laughter. Cheers to the memories we've made, and the new ones to come!

Matthew Smicinski

Groomsman

I met Alan & Cassandra shortly after I started dating my wife, Amber (Cassandra's sister). From the start, their special bond was evident- they truly complemented each other perfectly. Their relationship was tested when the pandemic hit, forcing them apart for nearly a year. As if that wasn't challenging enough, Alan was then mobilized to one of the coldest regions of the country for several months. Despite these long stretches apart, their bond remained unbreakable. They remained devoted to each other through it all, proving the resilience of their love. Now as they tie the knot, they are ensuring they will never face such separations again. I am thrilled to celebrate their big day and witness the start of their new chapter together!

Groomsman

Alan and I first met back in high school, both students in Ms. Zhou’s Chinese class. It was a much simpler time, and our friendship grew closer through one shared interest—video games. Back then, shooting and survival games were my favorites, and I still remember how Alan always came up with clever strategies to save supplies. Always thinking ahead and finding solutions—a skill that feels even more relevant in today’s unpredictable world. It’s hard to believe more than 15 years have passed since those days. Over the years, our friend circle has grown and shrunk, but one thing has stayed constant—our friendship. Through it all, Alan has always been a good friend. I’m honored to stand here today as his groomsman and celebrate this exciting new chapter in his life. Congratulations, Alan and Cassie!

Corinne Bernstein Frederick

Officiant

I've known Cassie since elementary school, when we first met at summer camp. We immediately bonded and spent hours crafting and playing with Neopets, and now I am proud of how she cares for my pet and many others as a veterinarian. Cassie is one of my closest friends. We enjoy game nights filled with laughter and friendly competition, often with Alan, and my husband Charlie. We have shared so many wonderful memories with the four of us all together and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this journey and officiate the wedding of Cassie and Alan. I couldn't be more excited to celebrate this new chapter with them.
