It is a bit cheaper than Bridge’s Bay at around 180/night. There will be a shuttle pickup to the venue (9 miles from Swiss Acres).

CALL TO BOOK FOR GROUP RATES AVAILABLE FROM 7/1-7/5 I cut hay on this land 10 years ago, and now it is one of the fastest growing resorts in the area. There are condos (including 1-4 bedrooms) as well as standard rooms, both available on the waterfront. Although it is more pricey (280-380 per night depending on size of condo), I would strongly recommend this for families, especially with small children. There is a MASSIVE indoor/outdoor water park with lazy river, and two really good restaurants (Bracco’s and Waterfront- reviewed separately). There’s also a zip line that looks about like what you’d expect a zip line in Iowa to look like. This is a kid’s paradise (oh and the rooms are new and very nice).

This venue is in a nearby town, very close (about 10 miles) from the venue and 20 minutes from Okoboji (where the action on the 4th is). This means it is cheaper and will have more availability, but is still quite nice! Booking through their website is $109 a night from July 1-5. Note you do need to spend 4 nights in this hotel to book.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spencer, an IHG Hotel

This is in Spencer, another nearby town that is about 10 minutes from both Okoboji/central area and 10 min from the venue. It is a standard Holiday Inn, running about $145 a night (but has breakfast of course!) This location is an easy drive through the country to the venue, avoiding traffic through the lakes area.

Cheapest option alert! Running about $80 a night. This is also in Spencer, about a 15-20 minute drive to 4th festivities and the venue.
