What will the weather be like?

Answer

Going off historic averages in Spirit Lake for July 2- temperature is on average a high of 83 and a low of 63. On average there’s a 36% chance of rain with a 73% chance of sun (it’s usually pretty hot and somewhat humid). I come from a long line of farmer’s, aka weather nerds.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Nope! CJ can’t deal with the uncertainty (a 36% chance of rain historically is still too much). There are 2 GORGEOUS barns on the property built by my great-great- and great-grandfathers. We will utilize them by being indoors for both ceremony and reception. If it is nice out, we will open the barn doors. There is a large amount of property with shaded gazebos (and twinkle lights) outdoors that y’all can hang out on, too.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

No one was asking that question, but I’m giving you an answer- YES! There’s plenty of outdoor space for them to play and of course barns are made for animals, not people, in the first place. Dogs are probably the only viable option to tag along, but if you bring a ferret… bonus points.
