February 23, 2015, was Casey's first day at a then-small tech startup called ServiceTitan, and the day Dalena slammed her hand on his desk and said, "It's lunchtime. Go eat." They then connected over stupid shit like improv comedy shows, the best ramen in LA, and whether Jane was going to choose Michael or Rafael (remember when Jane the Virgin was good? 😩) After hanging out platonically for what felt like forever, on April 24, 2015, they went out for a good ole karaoke sesh (shout out to Max Karaoke Studio in Little Tokyo) where Dalena got much too drunk and cornered Casey outside the hallway bathroom and asked, "DO YOU LIKE ME?" On April 26, 2015, they started to date. On April 26, 2021, after more than a year in lockdown, they eloped at the Santa Ana Courthouse.
