Even with miles (and oceans) between them while Derrick has been serving in the Marines, their bond has only grown stronger. We’re so excited to have him standing by Casey’s side (and maybe keeping him out of too much trouble) on the big day!

Meet Callie Callie and Mikaela first crossed paths at Derrick’s going-away party before he left for the Marines. At the time, Callie was Derrick’s girlfriend (now his wife!), and the two of them, quickly became more than friends—they became fiercely protective of each other. Most of their time is spent wrangling Derrick and Casey, but honestly, they wouldn’t have it any other way. Let’s just say: I yapped, she yapped, and the rest wrote itself. We couldn’t imagine this day without Callie standing right by Mikaela's side!

Meet David David is Mikaela’s little brother, but it didn’t take long for him and Casey to click like true brothers. They bicker, laugh, and look out for each other in the way only brothers can—and to top it off, they even work together. From cows to video games, fishing to YouTube marathons, these two were clearly meant to be family. We can’t wait to have David standing by Casey’s side as the best brother-in-law he could ask for!

Meet Layne Mikaela has known Layne since Layne was a teenager, when Layne was her dance teacher in one of her very first dance classes. Their families have been connected for years—Layne’s dad even owns the company where Mikaela’s dad has faithfully worked for the past 30 years—so you could say their story has been intertwined for a long time. While they weren’t always especially close, that changed a few years ago when they began spending more time together. From celebrating at Layne’s baby shower to freezing at Aggie football games, their friendship has grown sweeter and stronger with every season. And when Mikaela got engaged, Layne jumped in headfirst—ready to support, plan, and celebrate every step of the way. Layne is truly the brightest light in any room, full of life, love, and contagious joy. Mikaela and Casey couldn’t imagine this season—or their wedding day—without Layne standing right by their side. 💛

Meet Andrew Andrew and Casey’s relationship started in the workplace, but it didn’t stay there for long. Somewhere between long days, big projects, and plenty of laughs, a genuine friendship was built. As Casey’s boss, Andrew has been a mentor, a leader, and someone Casey truly respects—but on this day, he’s here as a close friend standing by his side. We’re so honored to have him as part of the wedding party and grateful for the role he’s played both professionally and personally in Casey’s life.

Meet Alexis Alexis is Mikaela’s older cousin, and Mikaela spent most of her childhood wanting to be exactly like her—much to Alexis’s annoyance at the time. Even though they didn’t see each other often with Alexis living in Austin, their summers were filled with river days behind the boat, Moody Gardens adventures, beach trips, endless dance shows, and relentlessly torturing their brothers together. Over the years their bond only grew stronger, and Alexis loves Casey just as much as the rest of the family (I mean… who doesn’t love Casey?). Mikaela and Casey couldn’t imagine their big day without the life of the party right there with them.

Meet Mikaela’s Parents From the moment she was born, Mikaela became their little girl—and as the first and only daughter, she may be just a little spoiled. From dance recitals and performances to presentations, award ceremonies, livestock shows, and FFA events, her parents never missed a moment. They were always in the crowd, cheering her on, offering encouragement, and standing proudly by her side. Through life’s more difficult chapters—countless tests, medical anomalies, doctor’s appointments, surgeries, unknowns, and possibilities that came with a challenging medical diagnosis—they were her rock. They faced fear with strength and grace, never letting her see their worry, even when it weighed heavy. Along the way, they gave unwavering support, honest life advice, and the freedom to learn from both their guidance and her own mistakes. They stood by her through the trials and triumphs of college and provided a childhood filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Mikaela is endlessly grateful for their sacrifices, strength, and unconditional love—and feels incredibly blessed to celebrate this day with them by her side.

From countless hours at the baseball park to dusty weekends at rodeos showing livestock, they were always there with encouragement, advice, and probably snacks. They taught him the value of hard work, commitment, and showing up (even when it meant long days and late nights). Their love, patience, and support helped shape the man he is today, and he couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without them by his side. He’s incredibly grateful for all the memories, sacrifices, and unconditional love along the way.

Meet Damien Damien is Casey and Mikaela’s nephew (his mom is Madison, Casey’s sister), and he is without a doubt the life of the party. Full of wit and charm well beyond his years, Damien keeps everyone laughing and brings so much joy wherever he goes. He means the world to his Uncle Casey and Aunt Kaela, and there’s no one else they’d trust to guard the rings—well… maybe we’ll hand them over at the very last second! They are so proud to have Damien as their Ring Security.

Meet Emery Emery is Mike’s granddaughter and truly nothing short of a miracle. She’s full of life, wise beyond her years, and absolutely born to shine—much like Damien, she never minds a little extra attention her way. She’s kind, loving, and the definition of a girly girl, and Mikaela and Casey couldn’t imagine a more beautiful soul to walk as their flower girl. Mikaela has watched her grow from a tiny baby in a Christmas stocking at the hospital to the bright, gorgeous girl she is today, and she can’t wait to be part of her life for years to come.

He owns Almeda Water Well, where Mikaela’s dad, Shawn, has worked for 28 years, and over the years Mike and his wife, Julie, have become like family. From Texas A&M football games to countless conversations at the office, Mikaela and Casey have shared so many special moments with them. Mike and Julie’s love, faith, and friendship are the kind of marriage most people dream of, and it’s exactly what Casey and Mikaela strive for in their own. There’s truly no one else they could imagine marrying them.

Meet Maggie Maggie is Mikaela’s service dog… and, as Casey likes to say, his emotional support dog too. She came into their lives at a time when they didn’t even realize how much they needed her, and she’s been their little heartbeat ever since. She’s the queen of zoomies, a certified chaos gremlin, and a professional mood-booster. Whether she’s glued to Mikaela’s side or stealing Casey’s spot in bed, she’s always right where she’s needed most. Her attendance at the ceremony is still under “behavioral review,” but invited or not, she’s sending all the tail wags, kisses, and love. She truly is their baby, and they couldn’t imagine life without her.
