FAQs

The Wedding Website of Mikaela Calami and Casey Kelly
You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers! We know weddings come with lots of details, so we’ve rounded up everything you need to know right here. If you still have a question, send us a message—otherwise, consider yourself officially in the know!
Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place on August 23rd, 2026 in Chappell Hill, Texas. Both events will be held at the same location so you won’t need to travel in between. We’ll share the exact venue name and address after we receive your RSVP—until then, we’re keeping it a surprise!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving about 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. That way, you’ll have plenty of time to park, mingle, and snag a good seat before the “I do’s” start!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes a “plus one,” you’ll see it on your RSVP. If not, we’d love for you to come celebrate with us solo—it just means more time on the dance floor together!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore your little ones! Kids are welcome if they’re listed on your invitation. Otherwise, we hope you can enjoy a fun night out while we take care of the rest.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’re asking our guests to come in western/rustic attire—think boots, denim, sundresses, or anything with a little country flair. The celebration will be both indoors and outdoors, so comfort is key. No need for tuxes or red-carpet gowns—semi-casual is perfect!

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A little bit of both! We’ll be celebrating under the open sky and then moving inside to keep the party going. Bring your dancing shoes and maybe a light layer in case the evening breeze kicks in.

Question

📵 Phones During the Ceremony

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests silence their phones and put them down during the ceremony. We are fortunate to have professional photographers and videographers capturing this special moment, and we’d love for everyone to be fully present with us as we say “I do.” That said, we will invite everyone to take a photo or short video of us during the ceremony! Our officiant will let guests know exactly when that moment is, so you won’t miss the opportunity. Thank you so much for helping us create a meaningful, distraction-free ceremony—we truly appreciate it. 💛
