Getting to Griswold Point

The Old House is located at 20 Griswold Point, however plugging 98 Griswold Point into google maps works well. For those coming from afar - thank you for making the trip! There are a few options for getting to Old Lyme. The closest airports are Bradley International (Hartford, CT) and T.F. Green Airport (Providence, RI). Both Bradley and Green are around an hour drive from Old Lyme, but are smaller and may have more expensive flights. Boston Logan Airport is an easy two hour drive from Old Lyme and often has less expensive flights. LaGuardia and JFK in New York are around a two hour drive as well, but NYC traffic can be horrendous. Although having a car is more convenient, you can also take the train from Boston or Providence, as Amtrak stops in Old Saybrook. Thank you for making the trip! Old Lyme Inn

We booked a wedding block at The Old Lyme Inn. The building was constructed circa 1856 by the Champlain family and the 300-acre-estate operated as a working farm until the early 1950s. Bonus: The Old Lyme Inn has a jazz club attached called The Side Door. We will be be providing bus service to and from the Inn for the ceremony and reception.

Quality Inn Old Saybrook - Westbrook

We have reserved a block of rooms under "Onstott/Armstrong" at a reduced rate at the Quality Inn in Old Saybrook, and we will be providing bus service to and from the hotel for the ceremony and reception. This is also the hotel that is closest to the train station in Old Saybrook. Please call the hotel to book under "Onstott/Armstrong" for a reduced rate.

Water's Edge Resort and Spa

Although we did not book a block of rooms at Waters Edge, this is a great option for those who would like amenities such as a private beach, indoor pool, and restaurants and bar. We will be providing bus service to and from the hotel for the ceremony and reception. Waters Edge is a 15 minute drive from the Old House. Please tell the hotel you are with our wedding.

Saybrook Point Inn & Spa

We did not block rooms at the Saybrook Point Inn, however it is a lovely option for those who would like to take advantage of the health club, indoor and outdoor pools, and spa. Saybrook Point is a 15 minute drive from the Old House.
