Griswold Point

The Wedding Website of Casey Armstrong and Cullen Onstott
Old Lyme has been an important place for Casey's family for generations. Casey's Great-great-great-great-grandfather Roger Griswold, Governor of Connecticut, built the Old House between 1800 and 1804. Since that time, it has been passed down through family, and Casey now shares the Old House with the descendants of her great grandparents. She grew up spending a week in the summer, as well as countless family get-togethers in the house. The biggest celebration is at Thanksgiving, where over sixty family members gather yearly. Highlights include four turkeys, twelve pounds of mashed potatoes, sixteen pies, and lots of leaf raking. Although Mike, Britta, Kasey, Tom, and many of our friends have visited the Old House, we are so excited to share this meaningful place with the rest of the Onstott family and our friends on our wedding weekend.
