If you want some help looking for a place to stay in the area, either let us know when you RSVP or e-mail us at caseyskapps@gmail.com. We've booked several AirBnB's and hotel blocks ahead of time, so don't be shy!
Yes! We plan on having shuttles bring guests from some area hotels and AirBnBs to the wedding and back. Let us know on the RSVP form if you're interested, or e-mail us at caseyskapps@gmail.com.
We sure hope so! The caterer is OU certified, and the food served at the wedding will all be pareve or milchig (if you don't know what that means, don't worry about it!) There will be a fish and a vegan/vegetarian option served for dinner (but no pressure to decide right now, you'll have your choice the night of the wedding.) Half of the hors d'oeuvres and desserts available will also be vegan. We've also selected some specifically gluten-free options. If you have any other dietary restrictions, check in with us and we'll figure it out.
Upstate NY is scenic, peaceful and (in our opinion) a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. However, what it has in natural beauty, it really lacks in public transportation. It's a rural area and you will need a car (or a friend or loved one with a car who is committed to schlepping you) to make the most of your time with us in the Catskills. Nearby cities like Kingston and Cooperstown are accessible via Trailways bus, and it's also possible to rent cars from there or be picked up by a friend to get you the rest of the way. However, we will be offering some shuttles from people staying locally to and from the wedding so every can party to their heart's content.
