FAQs

The Wedding Website of Casey Leavitt and Andrew Page
Question

Will you require COVID testing?

Answer

As a courtesy to all in attendance we kindly ask that you test before you travel to ensure everyone can comfortably enjoy our ceremony. We strongly recommend and would sincerely appreciate wearing a mask on your flight over (we will be!). The welcome event will be an inside dinner, with access to an outdoor patio a short walk away. The wedding ceremony will be outside, with dinner inside and an indoor/outdoor reception.

Question

Do I need a Passport to get into Canada?

Answer

Yes! While trips of less than 180 days do not require a travel visa, you must have a valid US Passport. Make sure you have yours!

Question

Why is the RSVP date so soon?

Answer

Our capacity is very limited at the Sea to Sky Gondola, so we have requested fairly quick RSVPs to ensure we can celebrate with as many of our closest friends as possible! We would sincerely appreciate if you can respond as soon as you are able :)

Question

What's the weather like in Squamish?

Answer

For this time of year, average lows are in in the mid to high 40s, and highs the mid to high 60s. Saturday evening's dinner will be indoors, but we will be celebrating outside on Sunday (albeit with heaters!), so please bring a jacket!

Question

How do I get to / from the wedding?

Answer

We will have shuttles picking up from both Executive Suites and Howe Sound Brewery on the night of the wedding! We suggest either renting a car or taking one of the airport shuttles to get to Squamish from Vancouver. Uber and Lyft do not exist in Squamish. There are taxis, but they require a little planning, and can sometimes take 20-30 minutes to arrive if not scheduled.

Question

When are the bride & groom arriving and where are they staying?

Answer

We will be arriving Thursday the 25th, and leaving on Tuesday the 30th. Andrew and Casey will be staying at Executive Suites, with Andrew being kicked out Saturday evening to spend the night at Howe Sound Brewery Inn.

Question

What is a Canadian Dollar?

Answer

They use different money in Canada, but don't worry, it's just like American/Canadian bacon - American is better! The exchange rate is roughly $1 CAD = $0.75 USD as of February. Not a bad idea to have some Canadian dollars in your wallet!

Question

Will Alfie be there?

Answer

Alfie unfortunately already has a prior commitment and won't be able to make it. If you'd like to meet the floppy dood, we highly recommend visiting us in Lake Tahoe!

Question

What if I'm afraid of heights?

Answer

Andrew is too... we got this!
