You can park along this area and enjoy the park or walk on the sidewalk beside the harbor to view all of the historic Charleston homes on the Battery.
Visit the historic Charleston market to see all of the many vendors with art, textiles and especially the sweetgrass baskets. The Gullah artisans that carry on this African tradition remind us of the market and city's past.
Julia is a regular at this yoga studio and its sister cycle studio next door! Both yoga and cycle have locations in old Mt. Pleasant, as well! For questions on booking or class recommendations, text Julia!
Park here to walk down to the end of the Mt. Pleasant pier or walk up to the pedestrian path entrance to the bridge. You can walk or run all the way over the bridge to East Bay Street, downtown. It's 2.5 miles down and back!
If you're bringing your dog with you, this park is a must! It's a gorgeous venue right on the harbor and has become a fun dog park with the huge yard to run in.
A beautiful park all locals have spent a lot of time at. Views of the inner coastal, Sullivan's, and the Charleston harbor!
A great coffee and breakfast spot!
We went on our first date in Charleston here together when Chris visited my family for the first time!
One of my favorite newer restaurants in Charleston with lots of vegan options.
A newer place for small plates and drinks. Head around the corner to 167 Raw for the full oyster and seafood experience from this restaurant group.
This rooftop bar is newer and very popular with indoor and outdoor bar areas, with a DJ at night. It’s just a quick walk down Calhoun St from the reception if you plan to head out after!
Chris' favorite spot - he takes all his friends here when they visit!
My favorite coffee shop in Mt. Pleasant, with locations downtown, as well!
One of our favorite restaurants at the front of the I'On neighborhood, which was modeled after downtown Charleston. Walk across the street after dinner to O'Brien's Pub - a very casual neighborhood spot. This is a great option for dinner before the Welcome Party, it’s just the neighborhood over from Hobcaw!
Located in historic Old Village with amazing food and drinks, this spot is very popular! We ate here to celebrate our anniversary the day before we got engaged!
Amazing oysters and a fun atmosphere by Shem Creek.
One of many great restaurants on Sullivan's Island, this one was recently restored and reopened with classic fried seafood and more eclectic plates, too. A few blocks over from the beach!
