University of Central Florida
Both Joseph and Alexa are UCF AlumKnights and loved the university so much that Alexa decided to go back there for her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The bride and groom are HUGE Knights football fanatics and attend all their season games. UCF is a beautiful campus to stroll through, watch a basketball game, and even go Geocaching! Check out the Reflecting Pond, an iconic UCF landmark and picture perfect spot. GO KNIGHTS, CHARGE ON!
The Townhouse Restaurant
The BEST family owned restaurant, serving food in Oviedo since the 1950's. On one of their first dates, Joseph took Alexa on a tour of his home town, and ended the night with a date at The Townhouse. The couple love this quaint spot for breakfast dates. The pancakes and biscuits are a must have!
Disney Springs
A fun family friendly place for the Disney lovers to explore! Great food, bowling, shopping, and live music! Alexa recommends Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' for some of the best fried chicken in Orlando!
Universal CityWalk Orlando
Universal's City Walk is a great option for a lively evening (free parking after 6 pm). With lots of great restaurant options, dancing, and night life; it is a perfect place to let lose. On their 1 month anniversary, Alexa surprised Joseph with a date night at City walk. They played mini golf at Hollywood Drive-in Golf and ended the night with milkshakes at Toothsome. The Strawberry Cheesecake, Espresso Buzz, and Heavenly Hazelnut are solid choices! Both Alexa and Joseph also love going to Rising Star to watch and sing karaoke.
