We love your small humans, but aside from our immediate family we are asking for an adults-only event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Go big or go home! Generally in the formal/cocktail attire world - but have some fun with it! Your favorite statement piece that's always felt like "too much" for an event? It's welcome here. Sequins, tulle, feathers, rainbows, that dress you know you've worn too much but it looks so darn good on you - yes! Just remember - the weather in NoLA in Sept can be wild - so be prepared!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Hotel blocks can be found on the travel page. There are, of course, plenty of AirBnB and VRBO options to choose from as well. Our wedding is at the base of the French Quarter, easily accessible to most New Orleans neighborhoods.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

The joy of a New Orleans style reception is there is plenty of food to choose from and the servers will know the exact ingredients if you have a specific allergy and need to avoid something. Carolyn is a vegetarian, so we will have choices there too!

Your invitation specifies the exact number of guests in your party.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Hotels we have selected are within walking distance (under 1 mile) to the venue. We also recommend taking a cab/uber/lyft or public transportation. If you are renting a car for the weekend, there is a large public parking lot right near the venue.
