Built between 1897 and 1900, at the height of Long Island’s Gilded Age, Bourne Mansion rose along the shores of the Great South Bay as one of the era’s most magnificent private estates. The mansion was commissioned as a summer residence by Frederick Gilbert Bourne, president of the Singer Sewing Machine Company, whose family lived and entertained here at the turn of the twentieth century.
Reception: Black Tie Gentlemen: Tuxedos Ladies: Gown To celebrate spring, pastel colors and florals are especially welcome for ladies.
As the wedding is in April, there is a chance of rain, so we recommend bringing an umbrella just in case. Temperatures typically range from the mid-50s to low-60s °F, so shawls or light sweaters are encouraged, particularly if you’re wearing sleeveless or short-sleeved attire.
The reception is adults only but children are more than welcome to come to the ceremony at the church.
Of course! Shuttles will be provided to all events but if you are choosing to drive, parking is available at all locations and valet's will be provided at the reception venue
The Hyatt Regency Hotel Bar will be staying open to 1:00 am if guests want to continue to fun!
