Formal to Semi-Formal: Elegant & Timeless for an Evening in the Forest
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM and conclude at 4:30 PM at the beautiful Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings in Colorado Springs. Nestled among towering spruce trees and open skies, this stunning venue captures the perfect balance of natural beauty and timeless elegance. We can’t wait to share it with the people who mean the most to us! We kindly ask that all guests arrive by 3:45 PM to ensure a smooth and timely start. Once the ceremony has begun, guests arriving late will not be permitted to enter, as we want to preserve the focus and atmosphere of this special part of the day. Our celebration will be semi-formal to formal. Gentlemen, we’d love to see suits or slacks with a button-down and tie. Ladies, longer dresses or formal attire are perfect for the occasion. It’s a winter wedding, but all events will be held indoors, so feel free to dress comfortably while keeping things timeless and elegant.
Cocktail Hour

Following the ceremony, join us for Cocktail Hour from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings! While the Bride and Groom step away for photos with their bridal party, guests are invited to relax, mingle, and enjoy this special time together. A full open bar will be available, featuring our signature drinks, along with a delicious assortment of passed appetizers to enjoy throughout the hour. This isn’t just any cocktail hour—it’s packed with fun! Explore our Sip and Search game, test your knowledge with Fun Facts about the Bride and Groom, and be sure to leave us a message on our audio guestbook. You can also sign our guest book, snap a photo, and upload your pictures using the displayed QR codes so we can relive all the memories from your perspective! It’s the perfect way to kick off an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, love, and celebration before the night truly begins!
Dinner

After cocktail hour, we’ll transition into the Dinner Reception, where the celebration continues! Guests will find their assigned tables and settle in for an evening filled with delicious food, heartfelt conversation, and joyful connection. As dinner is served, a few of the people closest to the Bride and Groom will share speeches and toasts, celebrating love, laughter, and the memories that brought us all together. This is the time to relax, enjoy your meal, raise a glass, and soak in the warmth of the evening surrounded by family and friends. It’s the perfect blend of elegance and genuine joy—a beautiful pause before the party truly begins!
Celebration and Dancing

To finish the night, we’ll move into the Celebration and Dancing! The open bar will keep pouring, the music will be up, and the dance floor will be ready for everyone to jump in and have a great time! We’ll have snacks out to keep everyone going while we dance, laugh, and celebrate together. This is the time to kick back, enjoy the moment, and end the day surrounded by good music, good food, and even better company!
