We are so excited for you to spend your Independence Day Weekend with us! If you are coming into town before the wedding, the Fort Wayne area has plenty to offer to celebrate America and good times with friends and family.

The Columbia City community gathers downtown for the first Friday of every month for live music, food, vendors, and special events! We love to support our local businesses and community, especially for such a special time as Independence Day.

First Fridays

The City of Fort Wayne hosts fireworks every year on the Fourth of July at 10PM. There will be many festivities to celebrate throughout the city. Please see the website posted to view the different events in the area.

Independence Day Activities

The Fort Wayne TinCaps will have a home game at Parkview Field on Thursday, July 3. There will be postgame fireworks and plenty of fun going on downtown before and after the game.

The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo boasts one of the best of its kind in the U.S. If you are looking for a fun day for the family on July 4 or even before the wedding on July 5, we recommend a day at the zoo.
