Travel Note
The DC area is served by three airports, Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) in Virginia and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) in Maryland. All three airports are within a 30-45 minute drive from downtown Bethesda, depending on the traffic. Public transit via the Metro is also available from DCA and IAD. Amtrak runs trains from New York City's Penn Station to DC's Union Station. The Metro can then be taken to access Bethesda, MD. During your stay, use of the metro is advised for local transportation within the DC/Bethesda Metro area.
