Train Departure
3:15 pm - 3:30 pm

This train is a regularly scheduled tour train of the Connecticut River Valley and there are cars attached to the end of the train just for the wedding guests. That being said, this train has a schedule to keep. The train will begin loading all passengers promptly at 3:15pm into 3 Pullman coaches just for the wedding party. The train will then depart at 3:30pm on the dot. The train will not wait for any guests that are late. A shuttle will be arriving at the Quality Inn Old Saybrook and departing at 2:30pm for the railway station. It will then come back and make one more trip to pick up stragglers.
Train Arrives At Venue
4:15 pm - 4:30 pm

Train will arrive at the station opposite the venue. Guests will enter and take seats for the ceremony to start shortly afterwards.
Ceremony

Everyone be quiet. We are trying to get properly married during this time. If anyone coughs or sneezes, they have to put $5 on the bar fund. Crying is allowed.
Cocktail Hour

The Wedding Party and immediate family shall be taking pictures while the floor is set up for dinner. Everyone behave themselves till we get back.
Announcement/First Dance/Toasts/Dinner

Dance Floor Is Open

Boarding The Train

The train will arrive back at the venue just prior to 9:50pm. All guests will then have 15 minutes to board the train. The train will then depart promptly at 10:05pm. Again, this train is on a schedule and will not wait for any straggling guests.
Train Arrives Back at Station

Train arrives back at the station you departed from. If you arrived by taxi or Uber/Lyft, it is best to have a scheduled one waiting to pick you up ahead of time. There aren't that many options this late at night.* *We will set up a carpool page at least a month before. The Shuttle will be waiting there to transport people to the Quality Inn Old Saybrook.

This is a hosted event but please dress casual. We will be enjoying the company of everyone one last time to end out our weekend. There will be Pizza and appetizers served. Drinks will be available for purchase.
