Let's get one thing straight, we'd never seen a Superbowl, we didn't know about the Superbowl, we didn't CARE about the superbowl, but we did love our friends. It just so happened that Caroline's best friend Emily turned out to be a very close friend of Cameron's and was throwing a party. Caroline, being the shy awkward person that she was decided this was a chance to put herself out there and meet new people. When she got there she was completely overwhelmed. Everyone was wearing jerseys and facepaint... Accept for one, Cameron. In Cameron's words, "She walked in in jeans and a tshirt and I thought she was the cutest girl I had ever seen". The minute Caroline sat down Cameron was there introducing himself and doing everything he could to make her laugh. It didn't matter that Caroline was nervous or shy, Cameron never left her side the whole night. It took a whole lot of patience and time but from that point on Cameron never gave up on trying to make Caroline laugh and feel special. Even through their eventual breakup and his enlistment/ deployment. Through miles of distance and COVID- 19. They couldn't stay away from one another. It may have taken 12 years but we've finally decide to stop running and make our vows to one another for the rest of our lives. Here's to many more years of laughs and love!
