Because why not?
A fun, quirky way to have brunch in the city. See if you can find all the secret passageways...!
A Logan Circle classic for dinner, lunch and brunch
Another DC Staple for dinner, lunch, and brunch
One of the most common questions Caroline is asked when people learn she grew up near DC is - "have you been to Freddie's?", referencing the BBQ place on House of Cards. Well, she has and it's delicious and called DCity Smokehouse. Yum! Note - it's standing room only - no tables! Best for takeout.
One of the first places Caroline took Brett when he first visited the East Coast was take him to M Street in Georgetown. They enjoyed strolling the shops of M Street and Wisconsin, grabbing a drink at Clyde's, and getting sweets from Georgetown Cupcake, Levain, and Baked & Wired. Also worth a stop is Stachowski Market - a long walk but delicious sandwiches!
A fun, creative cocktail bar Caroline frequented in her East Coast days - worth a visit, along with any restaurant by Jose Andres.
A delicious place for brunch
