Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie optional. Ladies should wear long dresses (color encouraged!), and the gentlemen should wear a Tuxedo or Black tie suit and tie.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage guests to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early, starting at 4:30pm. This will allow for ample time to go up the elevator to the rooftop. Plus, you'll be greeted with champagne as a thank you for arriving early! Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Is there parking for the venue?

Answer

There is a pay parking garage hosted by Colonial Parking located near 1333 19th St NW, on the backside of the Highpoint. Please use this address in your GPS to find it. The after party location (the Admiral) is located across the street from the venue so you may use the same garage. In general, driving is discouraged due to DC traffic.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Given our venue's city location, we've opted for walkable hotel blocks as to avoid DC traffic. All hotel blocks are located within a 10-minute walk of the venue.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

DC should be a gorgeous 72 degrees on our special day, but please keep an eye on temperatures as climate change can make weather temperamental.
