Travel Note
San Luis Obispo (SLO) is midway through CA. Here's some advice we have for people traveling from different parts of the country, since we're all traveling to the event! East Coasters: you have 2 main options -- take two flights (one to either LAX or SFO, then another to the SLO airport), or fly to one of the major airports and drive/take Amtrak. The drive from either city to SLO is beautiful, and if you're interested in sightseeing, driving would give you most flexibility to explore. Angelenos: your best options are taking a flight to SLO from LAX (sadly, no direct flights from Burbank), driving up the coast (~4 hours) or taking Amtrak (~5.5 hours, but you get to avoid gridlock/zone out and enjoy the view). Phoenix friends: lucky you! There are direct flights to SLO from Phoenix. :) Getting to Harmony: It's a 30-minute drive from SLO to Harmony. Something to keep in mind regarding car rental if you choose to do so.
Hotel
We have a block of hotel rooms reserved here at a special rate -- click the link above to book online and make sure to put in the notes that you're staying for the Fraissinet-Silva Wedding, or call (888) 591-1234 and mention "Fraissinet-Silva wedding" when you call. The Madonna Inn is a unique resort with 110 different themed rooms! It's about 30 minutes away from the venue in Harmony, CA. Pick your room early as the more popular ones book up more than a year in advance.
Flight
There is a local airport in SLO County if you'd like to fly in directly -- there are direct flights from Phoenix, AZ for our guests coming in from there. For our East Coast and LA friends, there are flights from LAX daily to SLO -- it's a short trip, about 45-90 minutes.
Train
If you're traveling from LA, it's about a 4-5 hour drive to San Luis Obispo County. If you'd rather not drive, the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Coast Starlight operate direct service from LA to SLO daily. It's a beautiful ride up the coast and there are snacks and drinks available on the train.
