These are some lovely engagement pictures taken by my talented maid of honor, Jenna Gliedt

Jackson proposed as we stood looking out over my favorite view in the world: the lookout from High Top Mountain at Blue Ridge YMCA in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

He planned the proposal with my brother, Spencer, who took all of these wonderful pictures.

The diamond for my ring was given to Jackson by his grandmother, Dianne Galos (aka Nanny). I am extremely grateful-- it sparkles beautifully!

This picture was taken after Spencer said, "You know, since I'm going to be your brother now, in a way you're kind of proposing to me, too."

We celebrated afterwards at an engagement party in Auburn that was entirely thrown by boys (with some decorating help from Jenna and Sydney). They pulled it off wonderfully!
