YES! We are complying with all state safety guidelines to ensure that all of our guests will feel welcome and comfortable during the wedding and reception. Our sanctuary can fit 1200 people, so with only about 260 guests, there will be plenty of room for everyone invited to spread out and enjoy the ceremony. At Bella's, we will have a "COVID safe" area in the balcony of the ballroom where people who are particularly concerned about their health will be able to spread out and still enjoy watching all the festivities of the reception. In addition, masks will be encouraged at both venues and hand sanitizer will be plentiful. We can't wait to see you there!
Our church requested that we seat guests in every other row in the sanctuary to promote social distancing, so our ushers will make sure to adhere to this policy. But not to worry! The sanctuary has plenty of room to seat all of our guests, no matter how spread out everyone is. The reception will be hosted in Bella's private ballroom, but we still plan to adhere to local health and safety guidelines. All of the servers will wear masks to ensure that all the food and beverages served are safe to consume. Additionally, we will be using plastic plates, cups, and utensils to further limit our guests' exposure to harmful germs. Masks will be available at both venues. We are encouraging our guests to wear them, but, according to Alabama law, they are not required to be worn while eating, drinking, or while standing/sitting more than six feet away from a non-family member.
We encourage our guests to dress in accordance with a cocktail dress code.

The ceremony will be held in the sanctuary at Covenant United Methodist Church in Dothan, Alabama.
The reception will be held at the beautiful and historic Bella's Ballroom in downtown Dothan. It is only about a 10 minute drive from the church.
Parking is available right across the street from Bella's Ballroom in the parking lot marked by the large clocktower. If this lot is full, you may park at the nearby civic center or courthouse.
Please be mindful that flash photography is not permitted in the sanctuary. We encourage you to take pictures and document our wedding at both the ceremony and the reception, but please try not to block important shots that we are hoping our professional photographer will take.
