...Do I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card? We are taking our RSVP's online only! We will not be sending out formal invites in the mail. Please look at the "RSVP" tab on our wedding website to enter names, meal preference, and attendance for all events. Please RSVP by Friday, July 19th!

... Are children invited? Due to limited capacity at the wedding venue, we ask kindly to leave kids at home during the adult-only events. Our guest list is limited to the people named in the invitations. You can bring kids under 18 on the trip to Truckee, CA, but will need a babysitter for Wednesday and Thursday nights.* *Note - All guests (and kids) are invited for the Lake Mary Play Day (Friday 9/20).

...Can I bring my pets? The Sugar Bowl Lodge and Sugar Bowl rentals are not pet-friendly. Some Air B&B's in the area do accept pets.

... What is the dress code for the wedding? Are there colors/styles that are preferred? Below is a quick description of the dress code for each event. Wednesday Welcome Party: Dresses, jumpsuits, collared shirts, tie-optional. Keep it colorful! Thursday Ceremony + Reception: Suits & ties/dresses welcome, shades of green encouraged, not required. Have fun with it!

Lodge Reservations

...If I asked Hannah/Kevin to set a room aside at Sugar Bowl Lodge, do I need to do anything else for my reservation? Yes! We have set aside a handful of rooms to family and wedding party members who have requested in advance. Although rooms may be set aside to a specific party, you must call the front desk to confirm your stay, number of nights, and provide payment. The remaining rooms at the Sugar Bowl Lodge are available on a first come first serve basis from Tuesday, 9/17 to Friday, 9/20.

Weather

... What will the weather be like? When it comes to mountain towns, Truckee had some of the best weather around! Fall months, known by locals as "shoulder seasons," are typically sunny and clear (between 75-80*F), with occasional hail and rainstorms. These rainstorms are short in duration and dissipate quickly. Although we don't expect any storms during our events, we always recommend dressing in layers!

...What meal accommodations are there outside of the wedding events? Continental breakfast is included for Main Lodge guests (breakfast upgrade available). Breakfast options can also be purchased for outside guests. There is also a coffee shop inside the hotel. Lunch will not be available in the hotel on Thursday before the ceremony. There are lots of options within a short drive (see Things to Do page on our website)!
