When should I RSVP by?

Please let us know if you're able to join us by 18 September 2026. Our guest list is an intimate group so if you definitely can't make it, please let us know as soon as you can.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden party / semi-formal. The ceremony will take place on grass so you may want to avoid wearing thin heels.

Any colours to avoid?

White (hopefully obvious). Bridesmaids will be in yellow.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Yes! Please let us know about any dietary requirements when you RSVP.

Due to venue capacity, we are keeping our guest list limited to those named on the invitation.

Yes, as long as they are included in your invitation.

We want you to be present in the moment, so please put your phones away for our ceremony.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Yes there is parking at Idiom Wine Estate.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. While Uber is widely available throughout Cape Town, it is not as common in the winelands. Please check directly with your accommodation as they may be able to arrange transport or recommend a taxi service.

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

February is peak summertime in Cape Town so expect temperatures around 26 -30 degrees. Evenings are pleasant, cooling down to roughly 17-20 degrees.
