Younger biological brother of the groom and former long term roommate. Never been convicted of a crime by a jury of his peers. Unsure if Carly will allow him to have a mustache at the wedding.

Maddy and Carly were ships in the night at Hofstra until they were cast together in a play (shoutout Fefu and Carly’s perfect power suit). Currently lives around the corner so they are in their Friends TV show era. Can often be found on each other’s couches. Is honored to be included in their special day.

Groomsman

The bride’s childhood best friend and nonbiological twin. Melissa Newman’s actual favorite child (CONFIRMED). If you see her at the wedding, conversation topics could include: her soup roster, movie musicals, and the Electric Slide.

Officiant/ Groomsman
A triple threat everywhere except the baseball diamond, Derek is the groomsman, wedding officiant, and older brother (in spirit only) of the groom. Former babysitter, he believes his introduction of chicken and waffles to Matthew during his DC internship summer made him the man he is today. Lost to Carly in a party game and isn’t mad about it.

Friends born out of an appreciation of what truly makes a good time; game nights, movie premieres, the endless dishes you can get at dinner on a cruise. Has gone directly from playing games and nerding out with the groom to movie and drinks night with the bride. Responsible for giving them both their only case of covid.

Groomsman
Digby May-Porazinski is a fiendishly dashing rogue best known for his parasocial and quasi-romantic relationship to the groom, as well as for serving alongside the bride in the Siege of Vienna in 1683. He currently holds the world records for longest name, most embarrassing board game collection, and most times he was asked to rewrite this bio. They became friends in their third year at Hofstra, bonding over Moscato wine nights on the floor, always followed by mozzarella sticks at HofUSA. To this day, they still disagree on the pronunciation of Reese’s but love each other dearly nevertheless.

One of Matt's childhood best friends. The outdoorsy one living in Vermont but does not own a Subaru Outback. Can beat Matt in any video game (though not a difficult feat).

Jess met Carly through a mutual friend and quickly realized she’d hit the friendship jackpot. From bonding over their shared love of theatre to forming a knitting club (with plenty of movie dates, manicures, and a cruise adventure along the way), their friendship has been full of girls’ nights and laughter.

Paired together randomly by a computer but chose to be roommates for all four years of college. Has shared many Sonic corn dogs and Shamrock Shakes with the bride. Both graduated college and immediately started dating Matts.

The bride’s “Big” in their college theatre fraternity, but they truly bonded through a pandemic Glee watch party. She was the bride’s first NYC roommate before the groom stole her away. She says there’s no hard feelings, Matt (as long as you keep cooking for her). She can be found chatting the night away with the bride & groom in their apartment that now feels like a second home to her.

This college compatriot is honored to put aside "making the color green a personality" for the grand opportunity to be Carly's Something Blue. Lover of the outdoors and sci-fi; Colleen is always prepared for adventure and antics of any caliber, especially when it comes to Carly and Matt. Wishes she could be as photogenic as her cat.

5’3”. Right handed. Learned to parallel park, but doesn’t remember how to. Met Carly in college and then became one of her unofficial siblings through their theatre fraternity (shoutout CTB!). Ask me about the time I got stuck in the bathroom and had to be sawed out by my grandpa.
