Carly graduated college in the great year of 2020. Her Disney job fell through, so back to her hometown of Rhinebeck she went. In his last year of college, Matthew accepted a job offer that happened to bring him to that same small town. The two matched on Hinge in 2021 and after conversations of skydiving, Legoland, and favorite nearby restaurants, they went on a three hour date and have been together ever since. After a trip to the aquarium where Matthew was disappointed about the lack of otters and Carly accidentally dunked her scrunchie in the touch tank, the pair has been inseparable. In 2022 they moved into the home they still share in Manhattan. Two months before their three year anniversary, Matthew popped the question back in the small town where they met. Some of their favorite things are eating, dancing, spending time with loved ones, and talking about their love for each other. They cannot wait until May 9th, 2026 to do it all at once!
