Travel & Places To Stay

Info for our out-of-town guests. If this isn't the info you're looking for, please let us know so we can update!

Getting Around Seattle

Seattle has a public transit system that is fairly easy to use for short trips around the city. If folks are looking for info on transit passes, please ask and we'll be sure to update! Uber and Lyft are great options for getting to and from the ceremony. If you'll be driving, parking is fairly easy to find (and free!) near Naked City Brewery.

Flying In and Out

The closest airport to us is SeaTac Airport, it's about a 30 minute drive to North Seattle (where the ceremony is). Uber or Lyft are easy from the airport, as is the Light Rail which connects to the Seattle bus system.

Where to Stay

The reception is in Greenwood, a cute neighborhood just north of Green Lake. We recommend finding a place to stay in Greenwood, Ballard, Green Lake or Roosevelt if you want to be near the wedding action. Ballard is a hip, happening neighborhood with great food, live music and cool nightlife. Our Friday night party is in Ballard. Green Lake is a quieter neighborhood (though still lots to do) with access to Green Lake Park (walking/running/cycling around the lake, paddle boats on the lake, and play areas for kids). Roosevelt is mostly residential, with a few shops and pubs. Greenwood is an "up-and-coming" Seattle area - lots of good restaurants, pubs, and a great nature park with walking trails called Carkeek Park. The above options mostly involve Airbnb or VRBO. Your hotel options will be mostly around the Northgate area or downtown.
