We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Hello everyone! We are so excited to celebrate with you in less than two weeks! As we approach the big day, we wanted to provide an update on precautions and expectations related to Covid-19 in light of the rapid spread of the Delta variant. Our ceremony will be outside (weather permitting). Guests will not be required to wear face masks when outdoors. Our reception is inside, but the Madison Beach Hotel has installed a state of the art air filtration system and we plan to keep all doors leading to the wrap around porch open to increase air-flow. We limited our guest count so we are at less than 50% of the reception space’s capacity. In addition to these precautions, and in light of the CDC’s recent recommendation that people wear masks indoors in areas with high Covid-19 transmission, we ask that guests wear masks while inside when not eating or drinking. No county in Connecticut is classified as “high transmission,” but we have guests coming from all around the country so we want to do everything we can to keep you all safe. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided. The Saturday evening event (Pizza and a Brew the Night Before We Say “I Do”) will be entirely outside, so no masks are required. However, there will be a number of children in attendance who are too young to be vaccinated. We ask that anyone not part of the child’s household wear a mask when interacting with the child, unless their parents say otherwise. We recognize that the Covid-19 landscape is very different today than it was a month or two ago. If you no longer feel comfortable attending our wedding, we completely understand. We just ask that you contact one of us to let us know. Your safety, health, and comfort is our top priority.
