Travel Note
We recommend flying into Querétaro International Airport (QRO) rather than Mexico City (CDMX), as it’s much closer to the venue. If you’re planning to visit CDMX or explore other parts of Mexico before the wedding—amazing! Just be sure to factor in travel time and any potential delays that could affect your arrival. Important note for entering the country: When asked how long you’ll be staying, it’s best to pad your answer. For example, if you’re staying 5 days, say 10. This is a common travel tip to avoid any issues with unexpected flight changes or delays. We’ve personally experienced situations where we had to pay a fee because we stayed beyond the number of days we originally stated—so better safe than sorry! If you are flying in from Texas into QRO, you likely will not have any connecting flights. If you are flying from anywhere else, you will likely have a connection in either Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. Pro tip: pick the early flight! It might be painful to wake up that early, but you will be in Queretaro by lunchtime and have the best meal of your life accompanied by a cold beer (it's also safer to travel during the day).
