Things To Do

We choose Austin for our wedding because it's a great, Texas city with a lot to offer out of town guests. If you've got some time over the wedding weekend, we've added a few ideas of things to do and see here to get you started. The city is full of great places to eat and drink, and you can also find a few different walking tours of the city if you'd like to see it by foot. Definitely check out the "Schedule" page if you'll be here Saturday and have a little time to spend with the bride and groom!

South Congress Street

South Congress Street

South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701

South Congress is a fun, lively Austin neighborhood for shopping, eating, drinking, and people watching. We recommend checking South Congress out if you're looking for a fun Austin experience!

Texas Capitol

Texas Capitol

1100 Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701

On the other end of Congress street, about a 30 minute walk from the Hyatt hotel, is the Texas State Capitol building. Did you know that the Texas State Capitol building is taller than the US Capitol building in Washington, DC?!

Barton Springs
